SINGLE REVIEW - MAIREAD - BACK ANOTHER DAY

Next Friday (20th January) Irish singer-songwriter, Mairead will be releasing her brand new single, Back Another Day.

Back Another Day starts with a soft instrumental that I have to say supports the song brilliantly throughout.
The first verse sees Mairead's soft vocal at the forefront due to the vulnerability within the lyrics due to the nature of the songs hurt which continues into verse 2 in a way that is beautiful as well as being relatable to many listeners.
The chorus features many beautiful moments thanks to Mairead gorgeous tone. The hometown feels got me a little emotional but the fact that moving on is ok even if it can be a little overwhelming.
It was as the chorus was repeated the more I caught myself realising a bug change is coming in my life, and that everything I feel is normal and valued.
I have to admit the bridge is stunning and the lyrics are heartfelt allowing for another side of Mairead to be shown. As Back Another Day ends the softer vocal from Mairead adds an extra layer of vulnerability which is just perfect.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The second verse sees the song take another turn of when you feel like things aren't working out but you are determined to learn from the lesson it's given you. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do.
