SINGLE REVIEW - BAILEY TOMKINSON - SILENT SUFFERING

This Friday (7th August) will see British singer-songwriter, Bailey Tomkinson release her brand new single, Silent Suffering.

Silent Suffering was written just before lockdown about putting on a brave face, which is quiet poignant as lockdown hit as the lyrics will be able to resonate with a lot of listeners.

Silent Suffering sees an upbeat drumming instrumental which sets the tone of this song up brilliantly alongside a guitar instrumental too. The first verse sees Bailey's softer vocal range being demonstrated allowing the heartfelt lyrics there moment to shine, and the amazing songwriting shine through. There is something so magical about Bailey's vocal range that gets me thinking, and at times relating to the lyrics in which she is singing.
The chorus of Silent Suffering features some incredibly beautiful, and heartfelt lyrics which I caught myself being a little emotional over as you can see so much emotion within Bailey's vocal range from the lyrics she is singing - my god this lady is so talented. I can't believe how perfect this chorus is about all the emotions I have been feeling during lockdown, and not told anyone about how I was feeling at the times. Bailey's vocal change is a lot more upbeat at times which I just love.
The second verse continues Silent Suffering beautifully with more heartfelt lyrics that I know for sure that people will be able to relate with. Bailey's softer but upbeat vocal range is something that is demonstrated beautifully throughout this verse especially leading into the chorus as it brings everything together so fantastically, however, leading into the final verse everything blended together so beautifully it was an absolute pleasure to listen to Silent Suffering.
Silent Suffering ending with the chorus for a final time is something that is so beautiful as it allows Bailey to show off her higher vocal range.

Silent Suffering is one beautifully special song.
