EASTENDERS EPISODE REVIEW - LISA FOWLER CONFESSING THE TRUTH TO PHIL MITCHELL
It's FINALLY Christmas week and the tensions in Walford are running high and reaching a fever pitch with all the Sharon Mitchell/ Keanu Taylor drama as Phil Mitchell nears closer to the truth this week.
Tonight's episode saw Louise Mitchell start to realise that maybe her fiancé was cheating on her after a chat with her brother and father in the cafe. As Phil then started questioning Lisa Fowler.
Tonight's episode was written by Lauren Klee and directed by Toby Frow.
For me Christmas week, couldn't have started in a better way especially knowing that Lauren Klee is kicking off the dramatic week with one of her wonderful scripts.
In the first scene of the episode featuring any of the Mitchells was in the cafe where Louise Mitchell was sat at a table with her father, Phil and brother, Ben where Louise were seen to be telling her family that she has no time for this with her daughter coming home from the hospital tomorrow but that doesn't stop them asking her questions about Sharon last summer. With Ben and Phil revealing to her the real reason for asking as they are convinced Sharon had an affair to which you could tell Louise was starting to put two and two together with realising that Keanu Taylor was the only one to have been around the house then desperate to not drop him in it.
The look on Louise's face for me said it all plus 1000 more!
I am so ready for the moment Louise decides to ask Keanu about this because I sense an argument leading to Louise's character growing up and standing up for herself.

In the next scene in the Square, father and son team, Ben and Phil were seen talking about what Louise had said or should it be what little Louise said as Phil then spotted Louise's mum, Lisa Fowler walking back to her house. I am sensing Lisa being questioned now by Phil.
In the next scene, a down in the dumps Louise was seen walking across the Square whilst Phil was seen attacking Lisa more than ever determined to get the true about his wife Sharon's baby. Thank god, Lisa revealed the truth once and for all. Lisa is one strong lady who is only looking out for her family. At the end of this scene, Louise was seen to be sat on the bench looking on as the residents continue their days whilst looking extremely worried and confused. It's obvious in to many that she is over thinking everything.
Moments later back in Mel's house, Lisa was seen with her daughter where Louise was seen to be quizzing her mother about why Phil was there but Lisa wasn't buying any of it leading to see faking smiling as she left the room to phone Keanu.
The more the episode is going on, the more I am getting worried for Louise and Peggy in the fall out.
Phil was then seen in The Queen Vic requesting a whiskey from Mick and Linda. I do like it when Phil is in this kind of mood as it means incredible drama is coming our ways.
Seconds later, Phil was seen staring at his drink in a very clever shot as Ben walked in leading to Phil confessing that Lisa told her that the baby isn't his and that he believes Lisa which for me was something I loved to hear.

Also in tonight's episodes, viewers saw Martin Fowler meeting up with Tubb's in the chicken shop where they were talking through their next job.
Stuart Highway was then seen talking to his brother, Callum who was looking rather down in the dumps following Ben Mitchell's break up in Friday's episode where later in the episode, Callum was seen to be visiting Whitney where it was obvious how gutted Callum was. I do love Whitney and Callum's friendship despite everything. The way when Whitney and Callum went on their walk their heart-to-heart was getting someone as Leo King then appeared.
Sheree got one up on Denise Fox as she agrees to look after Amy Mitchell. You have to love how Amy then starts quizzes Sheree about who Isaac is before letting it slip to Denise.
As The Slaters were starting to struggle with being locked in, however the Paesnar brothers were determined to get their house back in time for Christmas.
Linda was seen to be reminding Ruby and Max when they popped in about tomorrow's event. I really like Linda and Ruby's friendship even if it is a little strange. But I did like how Mick was honest with Linda later in the episode about her drinking.
I adore the way that Sonia is always looking out for Martin and always seems to know what he is up whether it's good or bad.
In a couple of scenes from the end of the episode, Bex was seen to be worrying about her dad as she sat down with her mum discussing everyone as in the next scene we saw Tubbs and Martin arrive at some warehouse where it was clear things were going to get very dark.
In the next scene of the episode, viewers saw Callum attack Leo for what he did however Leo was seen smirking as it walked away as Callum was arrested.
Lucy Benjamin, Tilly Keeper and Steve McFadden - I have nothing but praise for you three for tonight's episode and I can't wait to see what the rest of the week holds.
EastEnders script writing, directors and everyone involved you made another wonderful episode so thank you!
