Happy Sunday!

My photography from C2C

The Adelaides (who I recently feature) played The First Ever Black Deer Festival in Kent yesterday and I was lucky enough to have caught up with the girls (Paris, Abi and Alicia) today to talk about how they found their experience.

Hello Girls. Thank you for agreeing to have this interview with me.
Thank you for inviting us!

You played the First Ever Black Deer Festival on Saturday, can you tell us a little about the experience?
We had a great time! We played the Ridge stage (stage 2) and were first on for the day so we really weren’t expecting many people but the turnout was incredible!! Everyone was so up for it and the atmosphere was insane- such a good crowd.

What was the audience response like to you girls? (I hope it was a wonderful one.)
They were great! We weren’t expecting many people so to get a big audience and a great response just made our day!

Could you tell us a little about your setlist?
We had a 45 minute set which has been the longest set time for us so far in any show! So we decided to play a couple of new songs ‘Don’t Wanna Love You’ and ‘Getaway Car’. They went down really well! We were quite nervous to perform them live for the first time but the audience seemed to love them!

Are you loving the Country Music Festival vibes? And the way Country Music is growing by every event being held?
Definitely!! Our first taste of a country music festival was of course C2C back in March and we loved every second! It’s so great to see how much country music growing in the UK!

Did you get the chance to catch any of the other artists perform?
Yes we managed to catch Jarrod Dickenson who was on right after us and he was great!! We’d heard great things about him so really glad we got to see his set!

Were there any highlights from the festival for you, girls?
Definitely seeing some people in the audience singing our songs back to us!! We can’t wait to do our other festivals with our band!!

I look forward to catching you girls once again at Nashville Meets London next month.
